Stay Involved

As a Sustainer, you provide valuable support and expertise to our organization and serve as an example of the potential of women to transform the community through the effective action of trained volunteers. Here are a few ways you can continue advancing the mission of the JLB:

  • Make a contribution to the Junior League 1922 Club. Donate here. (Link is forthcoming!)
  • Bring a Sustainer friend to one of our socials or interest groups!
  • Know a former Sustainer who stopped paying her dues? Encourage her to “re-member.”
  • Support the League’s community projects and fundraisers.
  • Stay Engaged! The JLB has formed “League Links,” small special interest groups that are open to all members. Ready to join? Click here for more information about the following groups: Mahjong, Book Club, Running, Walking, Wine, Networking.
  • Sponsor a potential new member who is interested in joining the JLB. Click here for the Sponsor Form.
  • Connect with Actives and Provisionals! Multiple opportunities exist throughout the year to network with and mentor women launching their JLB careers; consider speaking on a panel, offering your expertise for a training, and of course you’re always invited to join GMMs, Member Trainings, and community service opportunities.
  • Host an Event. We are always looking for comfortable homes to host groups of 10, 20, 40, or even 100 women for meetings, trainings, and social events. By volunteering your space for an event goes a long way to improving the Member experience and ensuring wise use of our financial resources.
  • Click here to join the JLB Sustainers on Facebook.
  • Do you know a JLB Sustainer that should receive a note of congratulations, get well, thinking of you, or other occasions? Click Here to let us know and someone from our TLC (The League Cares) will send them a note.

Our activities provide Sustainers with opportunities to nurture your League friendships, provide networking opportunities, and support all of the JLB’s programming! We hope to see you this year!
