The Junior League of Birmingham’s Community Roundtables presents a panel discussion on VOTING RIGHTS RESTORATION. This discussion will provide information and resources on the process to restore a citizen’s right to vote after a felony conviction and the importance of this opportunity as a means of successful reintegration into society. Many in the community do not know that this opportunity exists, and if they do, struggle with the complicated legal process of restoration. Our panel will include:

• Dori Miles, Voting Rights Restoration Specialist at Greater Birmingham Ministries, and Advisory Board President of Return My Vote
• JaiGregory Clarke, Faith in Action Alabama
• Stephanie Hicks, Restorative Strategies LLC
• Moderator: Tari Williams, Organizing Director at Greater Birmingham Ministries
